Harlan Satrang (owner) attended the Colorado School of Trades from 1980 to 1981. Upon graduation he gained employment with E. C. Bishop and Sons (gunstock manufactures) to help continue the development of a gunsmithing department. Harlan worked on many projects during the 10 years with Bishop, including the creation of Bishop’s mod. 10 rifle of which he was responsible for barreling special order calibers, bluing, installation of express sights etc.

In 1991 he left the Bishop company to start his own shop and Triple River Gunsmithing has moved from basement to our current location, right in downtown Warsaw, MO. Harlan and his team started working on Safari Classic rifles for CZ-USA in 2004 and have continued to do so ever since, becoming their custom shop in the process.

They also continue with general gun repair, rebluing, restocking, and refinishing

Meagan Satrang (daughter) has been working as gunsmith for 15 years, man and blues every firearm that comes through our shop.

Mike Ballinger (US Navy Ret) is a graduate of the North American School of Firearms. He has worked with Triple River Gunsmithing since 2003. He Installs all the rifle barrels and does a large amount of the general gunsmithing.

James Parker does all of the stockwork. He has been with us since 1998.
