Harlan Satrang (owner) attended the Colorado School of Trades from 1980 to 1981. Upon graduation he gained employment with E. C. Bishop and Sons (gunstock manufactures) to help continue the development of a gunsmithing department. Harlan worked on many projects during the 10 years with Bishop, including the creation of Bishop’s mod. 10 rifle of which he was responsible for barreling special order calibers, bluing, installation of express sights etc.

In 1991 he left the Bishop company to start his own shop and Triple River Gunsmithing has moved from his basement to our current location, right in downtown Warsaw, MO. Meagan, Harlans daughter came to work for him in 2002, completed a 10yr in 2013 and has been managing  the shop for the last couple years. Harlan and his team started working on Safari Classic rifles for CZ-USA in 2004 and have continued to do so ever since, becoming their custom shop in the process.

They also continue with general gun repair, rebluing, restocking, and refinishing.
